Electric Horse helps disabled people to Get Mobile - 22/02/2009

Electric Horse are please to be involved with the innovative Get Mobile Project in East Dunbartonshire, which is encouraging older, less able and partially disabled people in Kirkintilloch / East Dunbartonshire to discover, or in some cases rediscover the joys of cycling. This is being achieved within the social setting of regular, leisurely guided cycle rides, accompanied by an experienced leader. An innovative feature of our project is that it uses a fleet of light-weight Powacycle electric bikes, which offer excellent pedal assistance when cycling long distances, into headwinds or on steeper sections of the route.
